Meet Gwen

Gwendolyn Summers is Founder of CultureLynx and Yoga Veda Saratoga. She was born and raised in Germany with family roots in Aachen and Saratoga Springs, NY. A savvy policy professional, Gwen has 16+ years of experience in U.S. Government Relations, Regulatory Affairs, Ethics & Compliance, Workforce Development, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) across the public and private sectors.

Gwen’s yoga journey began in 2015 when she returned to her home base in Saratoga after about a decade of working in the corporate world. In 2020, she pursued her teacher certification and the following year she was officially 200-RYT Yoga Alliance certified. After taking a short break from teaching to focus on being a new mom, she continued her training in 2023 to become 500-RYT Yoga Alliance certified.

Gwen is passionate about DEI and has dedicated her life to building bridges and fostering meaningful connections among people of different cultures - whether on a professional level by leveraging her unique experiences and skill set or on a personal level by spreading positive energy, kindness, and compassion.

When she is not working (or practicing yoga), Gwen enjoys rollerblading, traveling, hiking, exploring, and spending quality time with her family, her friends, and her French bulldog Theodor (“Teddy”) The Great.
