Meet Our Founder
At a time when globalization is connecting people from the furthest corners of the world; when new communication platforms are enabling the exchange of thoughts, beliefs, and ideas; when a simple click of a mouse can inspire revolutions and transform societies; and when the collective power of diversity is stronger than ever before, the importance of equality and inclusion cannot be overstated.
As the world continues to shrink, companies and organizations are witnessing a transformation of their workforce into one that reflects the global nature of our society. For those that have found a way to embrace this change with open arms, diversity has paid off in a number of ways: through greater employee engagement, reduced turnover, increased creativity, improved cultural insights, advanced innovation, and, ultimately, significant financial returns. For others, however, diversity poses an everlasting struggle as they try to harness the benefits of a diverse workforce. Ethnic, gender, cultural, religious, and generational differences seem impossible to reconcile.
And, yet, it is in times of crisis when we are given a golden opportunity to affect change. When we are at our lowest point, when we have reached our limits - that is when our humanity is called upon and signals us to breathe, to create space, so we may reconnect with our Truth and develop the insights needed to transform our present.
CultureLynx was created in 2019 with that exact purpose in mind. On a professional level, CultureLynx reflects my life’s passion for building bridges across cultures and other invisible borders, and for uniting people around common goals to make a lasting impact on the world. In order to do that - and after more than a decade of service in government affairs, workforce development, and ethics and compliance in both the public and private sectors - I realized I needed to step outside of my comfort zone and surrender to the unknown, confident in my abilities and hopeful for the opportunities ahead.
On a personal level, CultureLynx represents the culmination of my experiences as a bicultural German-American growing up between two worlds, as an early millennial on the cusp of two generations, and as a woman who - like many others working in male-dominated environments - had to overcome various barriers to make herself heard. My journey has enabled me to find beauty in the wake of adversity, courage in moments of uncertainty, and strength in times of vulnerability. Most of all, it has given me the gift of resilience and insight that I hope to share with you on this road to transformation.
Thank you for your interest in CultureLynx, in our mission and in our story. I look forward to the opportunity of working with you to help you reconnect with your Truth, to transform your culture, and to inspire meaningful progress that you and your employees can be proud of.
Warmly,
Gwendolyn Summers, Founder
